Her Justice Honors Akin Gump for Commitment to Helping Women and Their Families

(New York) – Akin Gump has been recognized by Her Justice with its inaugural Firm Commitment Award. The award was given to the law firm averaging the most hours of pro bono services per lawyer on behalf of the organization. Last year, Akin Gump averaged 26 hours per lawyer, or more than 5000 total hours.

Her Justice provides free legal services to low-income women in matrimonial, family and immigration law. Akin Gump has been active in its pro bono program since 2000.
