Lacy Lawrence Named to Dallas Bar Association’s Women Empowered to Lead Class

(Dallas) – Akin Gump litigation partner Lacy Lawrence has been named to the Dallas Bar Association’s 2021 Women Empowered to LEAD class, one of 30 to receive the recognition.
Launched in 2017, the award-winning program, referred to as “DBA WE LEAD,” was conceived as a leadership, empowerment and professional development program designed to address “the challenges of high-performing women who have practiced law for 8 to 15 years.”
This year’s group of DBA WE LEAD class members will meet at four separate sessions throughout the year for leadership and professional development training. They will also be provided with opportunities to interact with general counsel and senior women lawyers as well as to network with others in the industry.
Ms. Lawrence serves on Akin Gump’s firmwide Diversity & Inclusion Council and as the hiring partner for Akin Gump’s Dallas office.
