NLJ Names Suzanne Kane a Rising Star

(Washington, D.C.) – Akin Gump is pleased to announce that The National Law Journal has recognized Akin Gump international trade partner Suzanne Kane among its 2021 D.C. Rising Stars.

The awards recognize “the Washington, D.C. region’s 40 most promising lawyers age 40 and under,” with submissions judged by an outside panel of experts.

Ms. Kane’s practice includes counseling clients on U.S. laws and policies affecting international trade and business, including customs and import control laws. A former U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) official, her experience covers a wide range of commercial and enforcement laws that CBP and other agencies administer.

Winners will be honored on October 20 at The National Law Journal Legal Awards.
