Rich Rabin Named Partner in Charge of Akin’s New York Office

(New York) – Akin announced today that Rich Rabin, head of the firm’s New York labor and employment practice, has been named partner in charge of the firm’s New York office. The position was most recently held by Abid Qureshi, who is now Co-Chair Elect of the firm.

Qureshi’s tenure overseeing Akin’s New York office was marked by the accelerated growth in both revenue and headcount on the back of its marquee practices, including corporate, financial restructuring, investment management, litigation, private credit and special situations.
