(Houston) – Three partners in Akin Gump’s Houston office have been selected for membership in the Fellows of the Texas Bar Foundation, the largest charitably funded bar foundation in the United States.

Lisa Hearn, Matt Kapinos and Andy Lehman, all members of the firm’s global energy practice, are joining the Foundation. Their selection comes a year after seven Akin Gump attorneys were chosen for membership. (Click here to read more.)

Each year, one third of 1 percent of Texas attorneys are invited to become Fellows. Nominations are based on outstanding contributions to the legal profession as well as a commitment to the community.
