Texas Diversity Council Names Chris LaFollette Among Top Women Lawyers

(Houston) – Akin Gump partner emeritus Christine “Chris” LaFollette has been recognized as one of Texas Diversity Council’s Top Women Lawyers of 2021. According to the organization, these awards recognize the “achievements of women who are breaking barriers and setting high standards for themselves and others.”
This is Ms. LaFollette’s second recognition to this series and follows her Lifetime Achievement award in 2020 from Texas Lawyer. To learn more about the latter recognition, click here.
Ms. LaFollette retired from the partnership in 2020 after a long and noteworthy career in the energy space, including having served as partner in charge of Akin Gump’s Houston office for more than a decade.
