Alasdair Kan focuses his practice on U.S. international trade law and policy. He advises international clients on the extra-territorial impact of U.S. international trade law, including export control laws and economic sanctions. Alasdair also handles investigations regarding violations of U.S. export control laws and sanctions programs.
In addition, Alasdair advises international corporations on a variety of Hong Kong regulatory issues, such as compliance with laws governing the import and export of goods.
Alasdair previously worked for a leading global law firm at its Hong Kong and Washington, D.C. offices. During law school, Alasdair attended Yale University for a year as a visiting student on full scholarship.
