Biography
- Advises clients on corporate and commercial matters across the energy and infrastructure sectors.
Alexandra’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, project development and general corporate matters across the energy and infrastructure sectors. She has worked on a range of complex, cross-border projects and transactions, acting for purchasers, sellers, borrowers and lenders.
Prior to joining Akin, Alexandra practiced at another leading law firm in London and spent time on secondment at a global energy company.

- Advised an oil and gas supermajor on a USD $14 billion joint venture in Angola.
- Advised an exploration company on the farm-down of an offshore block in the Namibian Orange Basin to an energy company, ahead of a two-well drilling campaign.
- Advised an Italian headquartered multinational energy company on the sale of an entity to a Nigerian energy company.
- Advised a multinational energy company on the sale of its interest in an offshore oil and gas concession in South America.
- Advised an asset management firm on its investment in an international battery storage developer.
- Advised a renewable energy company on the limited recourse project financing of two battery energy storage projects in the United Kingdom.
- Advised an asset management firm on a minority investment into a UK based green infrastructure company.
- Advised a confidential client on the terminal use agreements for a European LNG terminal.
- Advised a leading energy company on an FPSO bareboat charter contract for an oil and gas field in the United Kingdom.
- Advised a multinational energy company on its multi-billion pound carbon, capture, usage and storage project.
- Advised an oil and gas supermajor on the sale of its interests in an exploration project in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea.
- Advised an oil and gas supermajor on the potential acquisition of a portfolio of power plants in the United Kingdom.
- Advised an oil and gas supermajor on the sale of its non-operated UKCS assets.
- Advised an international oil and gas company on the potential farm-in to six onshore and offshore interests in Morocco.
- Advised a major international energy company on its acquisition of a minority interest in an HVO fuel producer.
- Advised a major international energy developer on its group restructuring.
