Amanda advises market participants on the formation and operation of private investment funds, including private equity funds, credit funds and hedge funds. She provides counsel on a variety of strategies, including hybrid funds and other evergreen structures.

Amanda was an Akin summer associate, where she assisted multiple practice groups with tax, securities and pro bono matters. She also completed internships at two investment management firms, a family office and a boutique business law firm.

Amanda earned her B.A. in political science and government from Clemson University. She completed her J.D. at Brooklyn Law School, where she was a notes editor for the Brooklyn Journal of International Law.
