Amelia is an associate in the firm’s litigation practice. She assists clients in a variety of complex commercial disputes.
Prior to joining Akin, Amelia clerked for the Honorable Mark X. Mullin of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas. She also previously interned for the Honorable Paul M. Baisier of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Prior to that time, she interned for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), where she gained experience working alongside attorneys within its Division of Enforcement.
Amelia earned her J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law.
