Angela focuses her practice on tax matters in the context of private investment funds, mergers and acquisitions, cross border transactions and restructurings.
Angela was an Akin summer associate. Before joining the firm, Angela was a student attorney for the Duke University School of Law Clinical Program: Start-Up Ventures Clinic. Prior to that, she was an extern for the Honorable Lucy Inman of the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
Angela earned her B.A. in political science from Vassar College. She earned her J.D. cum laude from Duke University School of Law, where she was an executive editor for the Alaska Law Review.
