Ashton Barrineau Butcher represents private equity firms, public and private companies and other strategic investors in a variety of corporate and M&A matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, auction processes, joint ventures, reorganizations and other general corporate matters. Ashton’s transaction experience covers a variety of industries, including convenience-retail, manufacturing, aggregates and ready-mix concrete, technology, health care, financial services, media, retail and hospitality.

- Advised Francisco Partners, a leading global investment firm that specializes in partnering with technology and technology-enabled businesses, on its growth investment and funding for the combination of legendary sheet music publisher Hal Leonard and Muse Group, an industry leader in music content and creation.
- Represented a private equity fund in numerous acquisitions of aggregates mining companies across the United States.
- Represented a private equity fund in its acquisition of an industrial components manufacturer.
- Represented a private equity fund in its acquisition of a leading provider of wireless condition monitoring.
- Represented a private equity fund in its acquisition of an indoor adventure park company.
