Biography
  • Advises on a range of labor and employment matters.

Ben is an associate in the firm’s labor and employment practice. His practice covers a host of labor and employment matters, with a focus on internal investigations and counseling. He also represents public and private clients in employment disputes and litigation.

Ben holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served as executive editor of the Journal of Law & Politics. He earned an Ed.M. from Harvard University and previously served as a public school teacher in Greenville, SC. During law school, Ben served as a law clerk for the nation’s largest network of charter schools, developing workplace guidance regarding COVID-19 and other employment matters.

Ben was a 2020 Pro Bono Scholar and a member of Akin’s 2021 summer associate class.
