Brandon is an associate in the firm’s financial restructuring practice. Brandon assists debtors, creditors and other stakeholders in complex chapter 11 bankruptcy matters and out-of-court restructurings.
Prior to joining Akin, Brandon served as a law clerk for The Honorable Sage M. Sigler of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
Brandon received his J.D., with honors, from Emory University, where he served as the executive alumni editor of the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal. He received his B.A. from Emory University in political science.
- GenesisCare: Counsel to an ad hoc group of prepetition and DIP lenders in the chapter 11 cases of GenesisCare and its affiliates, a global health care provider specializing in cancer treatment.
- Curo Group Corp.: Counsel to the debtor, a leading consumer credit lender serving the U.S. and Canada, in its chapter 11 cases involving over $2.1 billion of debt.
