Brecken is an associate in the environment & natural resources practice, with a focus on regulatory counseling. She represents and advises clients in environmental litigation, transactional matters and enforcement actions.
Prior to joining the firm, Brecken clerked for the Honorable Daniel D. Crabtree in the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas. She earned her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she was a managing editor of the Virginia Environmental Law Journal and involved in the Environmental Law and Community Engagement Clinic. Brecken received her B.A. in political science from the University of Kansas.
