Brielle is a member of the firm’s real estate practice. She represents real estate investment trusts, development companies, sovereign wealth funds, real estate investment funds and institutional real estate investors in a wide variety of real estate transactions, including acquisition and disposition of commercial projects, sale-leaseback transactions and development projects, with a particular focus on transactions involving hotels, marinas, leisure properties and data centers.
She has experience representing both landlords and tenants in leasing matters concerning office, retail, restaurant, mixed-use properties, distribution centers, data centers and complex lease workouts. Brielle also represents hotel owners and operators in the negotiation of hotel management, asset management and franchise agreements.
- Represented Preylock Holdings as the borrower in connection with its $1.2 billion commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) financing secured by 12 distribution warehouses totaling 8.9 million square feet across 10 states.
- Represented a sovereign wealth fund as the purchaser and the borrower in connection with a series of acquisitions, Sharia-law compliant financings and related joint venture arrangements with multiple institutional partners for a $375 million portfolio of single-tenant net lease logistics and distribution centers totaling over 2.3 million square feet across seven states.
- Represented a real estate investment company as the purchaser in the acquisition of a $136 million full-service hotel in Texas, together with the related assumption of a CMBS loan.
- Represented a hotel owner in its $225 million acquisition of 48 limited-service hotels located in 11 states.
- Represented a marina owner and operator in its programmatic acquisition platform, including the acquisition of a $200 million resort and marina located in New York.
