Biography
- Trial lawyer focusing on complex commercial disputes.
Christine Doniak’s practice focuses primarily on complex commercial litigation. A number of her representations have involved multidistrict litigations and bench-and-jury trials.
Christine has worked with clients in a range of industries, including financial services, media and entertainment, and apparel. She also maintains a significant pro bono practice.
Representative Work
- Representing an apparel brand in action concerning claims of employment discrimination, sexual harassment and retaliation, including claims filed with the Equal Opportunity Employment Commission (EEOC).
- Advising a municipality on a pro bono basis against claims of trademark infringement.
- Serving as counsel to a media company in litigation involving federal civil rights claims, and claims for malicious prosecution, abuse of process and false arrest.
- Providing legal advice to an independent record label in a jury trial against a competitor in a dispute involving copyright infringement.
- Assisting a major private equity fund through a multijurisdictional, multiparty regulatory approval process.
