Corey is an associate in the firm's litigation practice. He assists clients on a range of litigation matters.
Corey was an Akin summer associate. Prior to joining Akin, he worked as a project associate at the Center for Public Research & Leadership, supporting equity-driven innovation in education policy. Before that, Corey interned at Everytown for Gun Safety. Prior to attending law school, he was the director of instrumental music at Saugus High School.
Corey earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he served as the executive articles editor for the Columbia Journal of Law & the Arts. He was recognized as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and served as President of the Education Law and Policy Society. He earned his Ed.M. from Harvard Graduate School of Education and his B.M. summa cum laude in music education from Bowling Green State University.
