- Advises U.S. and international clients on various international trade law matters, including forced labor matters, UFLPA compliance, U.S. economic sanctions, and export controls.
David is an associate in the international trade practice. He advises clients on enforcement and compliance issues related to forced labor concerns, UFLPA matters, U.S. export controls and economic sanctions, customs and import controls, and compliance with international trade laws and regulations. He also advises on matters involving international trade policy and regulatory developments.
Previously, David was an attorney-advisor at the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Office of Trade, Regulations and Rulings Directorate, where he specialized in forced labor and UFLPA matters. He earned his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where he was a Henry T. King, Jr. War Crimes Research Office Fellow and Cox International Law Center Fellow. He also served as editor-in-chief of War Crimes Prosecution Watch Newsletter.
