Biography
- Provides advice on education policy issues.
- Served as education policy consultant at the George W. Bush Institute.
Beth Ann assists both private and public entities with the implementation of education reforms and counsels clients on education policy issues.
Her recent experience includes:
- Helping to develop initiatives to improve secondary school literacy.
- Navigating policy issues affecting students in pre-kindergarten through college for higher education officials.
- Ensuring that instructional practice in education is driven by high quality research.
- Assisting public and private sector clients in understanding current state education standards and processes for obtaining high quality standards.
- Helping public and private entities navigate state and national education policies.
- Working with public and private entities on proposals to improve math education.
- Enhancing public school accountability.
- Working with clients to develop programs designed to improve students’ readiness for college and the workplace.
Beth Ann previously worked as a psychological associate in private practice for 12 years and as a public school teacher in Houston, Texas, for seven years.
