Erica’s practice covers a variety of litigation matters including civil litigation, government enforcement matters, internal investigations and legal compliance. She has worked on government and corporate internal investigations for domestic and international clients.
Erica has trial experience and has successfully briefed and argued numerous dispositive motions in complex litigation. She has experience responding to government subpoenas, working on complex multidistrict litigation, nationwide class actions and conducting internal investigations. She is a monthly contributor to AG Data Dive, which covers cybersecurity, privacy and other data-related topics impacting organizations across the globe.
Erica is active in the firm’s pro bono practice and has successfully defended a refugee at trial in removal proceedings in immigration court and won relief for a non-profit in the recovery of funds in D.C. Superior Court. She has also counseled clients of Time’s Up/National Women’s Law Center on defamation claims, conducted pre-publication libel review of a book manuscript for a non-profit publisher and represented individuals seeking asylum, tenants involved in proceedings before D.C. Landlord Tenant Court and supports the firm’s anti-human trafficking initiative.
