Gage is an associate in the firm’s litigation practice. Prior to joining Akin, Gage served as an Associate General Counsel at a private investment firm in Dubai, where he provided legal support on a variety of matters, including litigation, public and private M&A, intellectual property, contracts, tax and general legal support of philanthropic initiatives.
Prior to his in-house role, Gage served as a law clerk for the Honorable Cory T. Wilson at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the Honorable Mark. T. Pittman at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. He also completed a judicial externship with the Honorable Sandra S. Ikuta at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in Pasadena, California.
Gage earned his J.D. cum laude from Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law as a member of the Order of the Coif and served as the Managing Editor of the Pepperdine Law Review. Gage was a Division I track and field athlete for the University of Iowa, where he also earned his B.A. in Enterprise Leadership.
