Jackson advises clients on a broad array of investment management matters. His practice includes the formation and operation of private funds, real estate investment trusts (REITs) and real estate joint ventures (JVs).

Jackson received his J.D. cum laude from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where he was a Sumners Foundation scholar and lead articles editor for the SMU Law Review Association. While in law school, Jackson represented the student body as a full, voting member of SMU’s Board of Trustees, with service on the University’s Executive Committee, Academics Committee and Legal Affairs Committee.

Jackson earned a B.A. and B.B.A. magna cum laude from Southern Methodist University, and was recognized by the business school faculty as Outstanding Real Estate Finance Major.
