Jerry is an associate in the firm’s litigation practice. He assists clients in a variety of litigation matters. He also assists clients in a variety of pro bono matters, including immigration.
Prior to joining Akin, Jerry worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable John A. Kronstadt of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. He also clerked in the Criminal Division at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California.
Jerry earned his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law (UCLA), where he served as a writing advisor in the Legal Research and Writing Program for Professor Deidre Lanning. He also served as an articles and staff editor for the Dukeminier Journal of Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Law and was an active member in UCLA’s moot court program.
