Jessica Mannon focuses her practice on business litigation, and her experience includes a broad array of commercial disputes, including securities and shareholder litigation, breach of contract, employment disputes, energy sector disputes and business torts. She has litigated individual and class action disputes in forums across the country, including arbitration, state and federal trial courts.
Jessica also has experience working on internal investigations and whistleblower actions, particularly with regard to matters relating to accounting irregularities.
Earlier in her career, Jessica worked in the Dallas office of a large, multinational law firm, where she assisted in the representation of clients in a broad spectrum of commercial matters.
Jessica received her J.D. magna cum laude from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, and was the recipient of the distinguished Order of the Coif in 2017. She served as Associate Managing Editor for the SMU Law Review Association and participated in the Dallas Women Lawyers Association Leadership Class. She was also a judicial extern for the Hon. Barbara M. G. Lynn, Chief Judge, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
Prior to practicing law, Jessica worked for more than six years as a professional fundraiser in the nonprofit sector, with an emphasis on child advocacy and higher education.
