Jing Ng advises private equity funds and multinational corporations on mergers and acquisitions (M&As), takeovers, joint ventures, cross-border transactions and general corporate and commercial matters in a variety of sectors.
Representative Work
- Advised Helios Investment Partners on the exit of its investment in Solevo (an African-focussed fertilisers and inputs business), having previously advised on its initial investment in Solevo.
- Advised an ad hoc group of bondholders in relation to the financial restructuring and chapter 11 case of offshore drilling contractor Seadrill New Finance Limited and its outstanding note liabilities of approximately $620 million.
- Advised the majority holder of bondholders in relation to the financial restructuring of the Polarcus Group, a marine seismic exploration business.
- Advised Vitol Group in connection with its and IFM’s purchase of 50% of VTTI B.V., the leading global independent provider of energy storage and terminals business, from Buckeye Partners L.P. for $975 million.
- Advised Vitol Group in connection with its and IFM’s sale of 10% of VTTI B.V. to the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company.
