Joe is an associate in the firm’s corporate practice. He assists public & private companies in mergers & acquisitions (M&A), securities, finance transactions, corporate governance, general corporate matters and project finance transactions.

Joe was a summer associate in Akin’s New York office. Prior to joining Akin, Joe was a research analyst at the Center for Ethics and Rule of Law. Previous to attending law school, Joe interned at the Financial Litigation Unit of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts.

Joe earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, where he served as an executive editor for the Journal of Business Law. He was also vice president of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association and West Coast Law Students Association. Joe was a captain of the Penn Law Boxing Team. He earned his B.S. summa cum laude in criminal justice and political science from Northeastern University.
