John focuses his practice on the complex tax matters relating to private investment funds, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), cross-border transactions and other business activities.
John worked as a senior consultant at Deloitte Tax before working as a corporate associate at a Connecticut-based law firm and then another international law firm. In addition, John completed a secondment at a national insurance company as in-house counsel in the institutional markets legal department.
John received his B.S./M.S. in accounting from the New York University (NYU) Stern School of Business. He completed his J.D. cum laude from Fordham University School of Law, where he earned the Milton Young Prize for excellence in tax. He earned his LL.M. in taxation from NYU School of Law.
