John is an associate in the firm’s corporate practice. He focuses on a wide range of complex corporate transactions, including advising private equity firms, global asset managers, other strategic investors and their portfolio companies in M&A, divestitures, joint ventures and general corporate and governance matters.

Prior to joining Akin, John was a corporate associate at an American multinational law firm based in Dubai.

John earned his B.A. from Fordham College at Lincoln Center. He earned his J.D. magna cum laude from Fordham University School of Law, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as an associate editor for the Fordham Urban Law Journal.
