- Advises clients in a variety of international trade and economic controls and economic sanctions matters, including reviews by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) .
Julie’s practice encompasses a wide range of international trade matters, including Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) reviews, export controls and economic sanctions advice. She assists companies in navigating the process of securing national security clearance from the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).
Julie also assists in counseling clients on compliance with U.S. international trade controls, including economic sanctions regulations administered and enforced by the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and U.S. export controls.
While in law school, Julie worked as a legal intern at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement. Prior to law school, Julie worked as a researcher on international security issues.
She earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where she served as community chair of the Asian-Pacific American Law Students Association. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in International Relations and French Studies.
