Laura is an associate in the firm’s international trade practice advising clients in various international trade, enforcement and compliance issues related to U.S. export control and economic sanction matters.  She also advises on matters involving international trade policy and regulatory developments.

Previously, she served as chief of staff at the Farm Service Agency and a legislative affairs advisor for the Office of Congressional Relations at the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). During that time, she spent several months on detail as senior legislative affairs advisor with the White House Office of Legislative Affairs. Earlier in her career she was a legislative director for U.S. Congressman Antonio Delgado (NY-19) and legislative aide and grants director for U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (NY). She began her career on Capitol Hill as a staff assistant to U.S. Congresswoman Judy Chu (CA-27).

She received a J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law, and an B.A. in international relations from the University of Southern California.
