Lauren is an associate in the firm’s corporate practice. She assists public & private companies in mergers & acquisitions (M&A), securities, finance transactions, corporate governance and general corporate matters.

Lauren was an Akin summer associate. Prior to joining Akin, Lauren worked at the Lincoln Center Legal Services Inc. Entrepreneurial Law Clinic. Prior to that, Lauren interned at a prominent private equity firm based in New York City. She earned her J.D. magna cum laude from Fordham University School of Law, where she was a legal writing teaching assistant and a part of the Fordham Journal of Corporate & Financial Law.

Before attending law school, Lauren was a litigation paralegal for a personal injury law firm based in New York City. She earned her B.A. in history from Emory University.
