Lucy Jeffries is an associate in the firm’s international trade practice advising clients in various international trade, enforcement and compliance issues related to U.S. customs, export control and economic sanction matters. She also advises on matters involving international trade policy and regulatory developments.
She received her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and served as notes editor of the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law. During law school, she was a student practitioner and teaching fellow with the Immigrants’ Rights Clinic and obtained the Parker School Certificate of Achievement in International and Comparative Law.
She received a dual B.A. in political science from Columbia University and Sciences Po Paris.
Lucy was a member of Akin’s 2023 summer associate class.
