Matt is an associate in the intellectual property practice, where he advises clients on patent litigation matters.
During his time at the University of Pennsylvania’s Carey Law school, Matt served as an associate editor for both the Journal of Law & Innovation and the Asian Law Review. Also during law school, Matt served as an intern for a major technology company and at a local district attorney’s office.
Prior to attending law school, Matt worked as a student researcher in the pediatric department of a large hospital.
Matt received his B.S. summa cum laude in biology at Drexel University, where he was named a “SuperNova Undergraduate Research Fellow” and served as a biology teaching assistant.
Matt was a member of Akin’s 2022 summer associate class.
