Megan Mahoney is an associate in the intellectual property practice, where she advises clients on patent litigation matters.
During law school, Megan served on the Fordham Law Moot Court Board as a competitor and editor, received the Keith C. Miller Memorial Moot Court Award, and was an editor for the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal.
Prior to attending law school, Megan worked as a chemical engineer, where she designed process control systems and network architecture for various industries, including pharmaceutical manufacturing and energy transmission.
Megan received her bachelor’s in chemical & biomolecular engineering from Johns Hopkins University, where she focused her research on microfluidic devices and cell migration.
Megan was a member of Akin’s 2020 summer associate class.
