Meredith advises on complex restructuring cases of all sizes, both in and out-of-court, and has handled matters for clients in industries as varied as real estate, retail, energy, shipping and entertainment. She is regarded as one of the industry’s leading young restructuring lawyers. Clients have remarked to Chambers USA that “Meredith is outstanding. She's easy to deal with and appears well in court”; and “She is very much in charge of strategy and process but also brings a soft touch."
After receiving her law degree, Meredith clerked for the Honorable Adlai S. Hardin, U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
- Yellow Corporation: Counsel to the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in the chapter 11 cases of Yellow Corporation, an American-based trucking and transportation services company that operated one of the largest less-than-truckload networks in North America, involving over $1.2 billion of liabilities.
- CommScope: Counsel to an ad hoc group of cross holders in connection with a potential restructuring of CommScope, an American fiber optic and cable provider.
- NanoString Technologies: Counsel to the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in the chapter 11 cases of NanoString Technologies, a publicly held biotechnology company, involving over $280 million in liabilities.
- Loyalty Ventures: Counsel to Loyalty Ventures and its affiliates, an operator of customer loyalty programs, in their chapter 11 cases involving over $656 million in liabilities.
- Chesapeake Energy: Counsel to Franklin Advisors in the chapter 11 cases of Chesapeake Energy and its affiliates, the second-largest producer of natural gas in the U.S., involving $9 billion in liabilities. Successful Restructurings of the Year (Turnarounds & Workouts)
