Drawing on her extensive background, Mia offers invaluable insights into congressional dynamics and policy making, enabling clients to effectively navigate and influence legislative processes. Her career has been defined by a commitment to community-based care models and national government relations initiatives, driving advocacy campaigns across diverse political spectrums.
Before joining Akin, Mia held the position of Director of Federal Health Policy at Change Healthcare. In this role, she spearheaded initiatives and provided strategic guidance on critical issues impacting health care technology.
