Biography
  • Focuses on corporate transactions.

Niki represents clients in a wide range of corporate transactions, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. Niki’s transaction experience covers a variety of industries, including entertainment, healthcare, manufacturing, mining and technology.

Prior to joining Akin, Niki was an attorney at a leading law firm in Toronto, Canada, where she advised clients on domestic and cross-border transactions. She also completed a secondment at Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts.

Niki earned her J.D. from the University of Toronto and her M.Phil. from the University of Cambridge. She also received a certificate in transnational legal studies from the Center for Transnational Legal Studies in London, England.

  • Trinity Industries in its acquisition of Holden America.
  • Armada Materials in its acquisition of Volunteer Materials.
