Biography
  • Practice focuses on regulatory and compliance issues in the health care sector.
  • Advises clients on matters related to Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement.

Remi Mehner assists clients on a range of regulatory, enforcement and policy matters within the health care sector. She focuses on regulatory, compliance and transactional matters related to food and drug law, Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement, and privacy and data security. Remi also counsels clients on matters involving fraud and abuse laws, including the federal False Claims Act.

While in law school, Remi served on the Executive Board for the Harvard Immigration Project, where she assisted individuals in deportation proceedings, and served on the Executive Board of the Harvard African Law Association. In 2018, she was the recipient of the Akin/Robert Strauss Diversity Scholarship.

Prior to attending law school, Remi served as a bio intern for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, where she worked on research analyzing natural greenhouse gas emissions in farming.

Remi earned a B.A. in psychology with honors and government from Wesleyan University.
