Payson Lyman advises alternative asset managers in complex equity and special situations transactions.

Payson has extensive experience advising investors in preferred equity and hybrid capital investments at all levels of the capital stack, including debt-like preferred stock, equity kickers and convertible securities. He also advises on special situations transactions involving complex liquidity solutions and capital structuring, event-driven and opportunistic investments and other bespoke arrangements.

In addition, he advises private equity sponsors on traditional leveraged buyouts, growth equity investments, equity financings, carve-outs, platform transactions, dispositions and recapitalizations.
