- Advises on the structuring and execution of secondary transactions.

Qasam Mahmood advises UK and international fund managers on a range of issues including the structuring and establishment of private investment funds investing across all major strategies in addition to the carried interest and co-investment plans associated with such funds. He also advises on a broad range of other transactions relating to private investment funds, including secondary transactions and fund restructurings.

- Advising an English sponsor on the raising of its debut private equity fund .
- Advising an English sponsor on a spinout and raising of its private equity fund .
- Advising an English sponsor on the raising of its small-cap fund and ongoing fund maintenance of existing funds .
- Advising a leading secondaries investor on a range of secondary acquisitions of global portfolios, including roll-over secondaries, tender offers and GP-led restructurings.
- Advising institutional investors, including fund of funds, with respect to their investments into private equity and other alternative asset funds.
