Biography
- Advises private equity sponsors and corporations in relation to complex M&A and other corporate matters.
Rachel’s practice focuses on complex mergers and acquisitions (both public and private), joint ventures and strategic investment arrangements. She also has extensive experience of equity capital markets transactions.
Rachel advises a variety of multinational corporates and private equity houses across a range of industries. She has particular experience in the energy sector, including having spent time on secondment to a leading global energy and commodities company.
Representative Work
- Advised a publicly-listed UK hospitality business in connection with its takeover by Apollo Global Management.
- Advised a leading AI-powered consumer finance platform on a fundraising round led by one of the world’s largest pension plans.
- Advised an international energy corporate in connection with its recommended public takeover by KKR.
- Advised a multinational mining company on the disposal of its joint venture interests in a Colombian coal mine.
- Advised an alternative asset manager on its public takeover of an AIM-listed software business.
