Radu Suciu is an associate in the London litigation team, focusing on high value cross border disputes. His experience encompasses a wide range of dispute resolution areas, including commercial and investor-state arbitration, sovereign disputes, distressed debt and financial restructuring litigation, as well as judicial reviews and civil fraud.
- Represented the Adler Ad-Hoc Group of creditors in the first fully developed valuation challenge of a restructuring plan and the first successful challenge of a restructuring plan at the Court of Appeal, obtaining a landmark ruling in a highly anticipated case within the market.
- Represented Elliott in judicial review proceedings against the London Metals Exchange – named one of the Top 20 cases of 2023 by The Lawyer.
- Represented an investor in the oil & gas sector in the early stages of an arbitration against the government of Romania (now settled).
- Represented cryptocurrency investors in an ongoing commercial dispute against a large trading platform.
- Advising a foreign state on a state immunity matter at Supreme Court level.
