- Practice included all aspects of real estate development and real estate finance.
Randall Ratner retired from the partnership in 2013 and from the firm in 2020. Prior to that, he developed extensive experience in the development of real estate projects of multiple types. He represented clients in the acquisition and disposition of real estate portfolios, including those of:
- Office buildings
- Industrial buildings
- Multifamily projects.
Randall’s work also included the negotiation of partnership, joint venture and limited liability company agreements with public companies, national and regional developers, insurance companies and pension funds.
Randall assisted landlords and tenants in the leasing of space in office buildings located in central business districts and suburban locations. He represented borrowers in connection with the financing of real estate acquisitions and developments, and with permanent financings involving real estate, as well as in loan restructuring.
- Advised on the purchase of office building portfolios in Dallas, Austin, Houston, Nashville, TN, Louisville, KY, Chicago, IL, Atlanta, GA.
- Assisted with development of office buildings in Dallas, Austin, Atlanta, GA, and Denver, CO and negotiation of limited liability company agreements for Owner’s in such developments.
- Negotiated loan documents for borrowers developing office projects.
