Biography
- Focuses practice on media finance and entertainment transactional matters.
Rebecca Pottash focuses her practice on financing and co-financing transactions as well as single-project loans in the entertainment and media space. She represents a variety of clients across the industry, including financial institutions, production companies, distributors and private equity firms.
Rebecca also serves on the Chairperson’s Associate and Counsel Committee.
Representative Work
- Advised Comerica Bank as agent and lender in all past and ongoing matters for two separate senior secured revolving credit facilities for A24, including with respect to the production, financing and distribution of various A24 projects.
- Counseled East West Bank in the financing of multiple television and film projects for Tyler Perry Studios.
- Represented MUFG Bank in its lead role in a senior secured revolving debt facility for a Luxembourg-based borrower, including its refinancing of the facility, the proceeds of which are being used to invest in film and TV projects that are subject to co-financing agreements with international distribution partners.
- Advised a lender in a $400 million senior secured revolving credit facility to a multinational entertainment company.
- Represented Bank of America in a credit facility with Cineflix Media, a major producer and distributor of Canadian television content.
