Sam is an associate in the Environment & Natural Resources practice. She represents and advises clients in environmental litigation, transactional matters and enforcement actions.
Sam earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where she served as Managing Editor of The Georgetown Law Journal. She also served as a member of the Women’s Legal Alliance, the South Asian Law Students Association, and as a student attorney for the Housing Advocacy and Litigation Clinic at Rising for Justice. She was a research assistant and a summer associate of the District of Columbia Office of the Attorney General. Sam also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Carolyn Lerner of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
Sam earned a B.S. in biological sciences from the University of Pittsburgh, where she served as a teaching assistant for the Department of Chemistry and an undergraduate research associate for the Department of Biological Sciences.
Sam was a member of Akin’s 2023 summer associate class.
