Sara is an associate in the litigation practice, where she advises clients on a range of litigation, white collar defense and investigations matters.
Sara earned her J.D. cum laude from American University Washington College of Law, where participated with the American University Law Review, the Mock Trial Honor Society and the Criminal Justice Clinic. During law school, she served as a legal intern for the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) Criminal Division, Fraud Section as well as DOJ’s Civil Division, National Courts Section.
Prior to law school, Sara served as a paralegal for the DOJ’s Health Care Fraud Unit litigation team.
Sara was a member of Akin’s 2022 summer associate class.
