Stephanie is an associate in the litigation practice, where she advises clients on a range of litigation matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Stephanie served as the senior law clerk to the Honorable Katherine A. Crytzer of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee. During law school, Stephanie also interned for the Honorable Dabney L. Friedrich of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. Stephanie also brings project management experience from the private sector. Earlier in her career, she was a media planner for a large communications group.
Stephanie earned her J.D. magna cum laude from George Mason University, Antonin Scalia Law School, where she served as Executive Editor of the George Mason Law Review and a member of the moot court board. Stephanie earned her B.B.A. in marketing cum laude from the University of Notre Dame.
Stephanie was a member of Akin's 2020 summer associate class.
