Stephen retired from the partnership in 2022. He focused exclusively on private investment funds and their managers. For more than 45 years, Stephen advised some of the largest and most prominent private investment funds and fund managers in connection with their fund formation and capital raising activities.

In addition to the creation of private investment funds, Stephen’s practice included advice on planning and executing investment and financing transactions, as well as on forming and operating investment management firms. He also assisted fund managers in registration and regulatory compliance.
