Tate is an associate in the firm’s litigation practice. Her practice covers a variety of complex litigation matters, including white collar investigations and civil litigation. She also maintains a robust pro bono practice.
Tate was an Akin summer associate. Prior to joining the firm, she was a judicial intern to the Honorable Robin M. Meriweather of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
Tate earned her B.A. cum laude from Cornell University. She earned her J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center, where she was a student attorney for the Civil Litigation Clinic and received the Associate Dean’s Award for Excellence in Clinic. She was also a notes editor for the Georgetown Journal of Gender and the Law.
